Sex Toys to Strengthen Your Pelvic Muscles?
We don’t often think of sex toys as anything other than a recreational tool to make sex more fun. They can be plain and simple or incredibly elaborate and almost sci-fi in appearance! But some sex toys can also be used to strengthen flagging pelvic muscles and thus eliminate concerns about a loose vagina. Which sex toys can run double duty and how?
Ben wa Balls
Ben wa balls are small, marbled shaped balls which are hollow save for a small weight inside. They can also be solid and/or with a clapper or a chime! (For the purposes of building pelvic muscles, you’ll probably want to stick with the hollow weighted ones). They are used sexually for insertion into the vagina or anus, but they can also be prescribed by gynaecologists because they are great for building pelvic muscles!
These balls are held in place by your pelvic muscles. If you have weak muscles, the balls will just fall out, but as you strengthen your muscles, you’ll be able to hold the balls in longer. This translates to stronger muscles and a tighter feeling vagina.
Vaginal Cones
A vaginal cone isn’t precisely a sex toy (though there’s no reason why it couldn’t be one). It’s a small weight which is inserted into the vagina and held in place again by the pelvic wall muscles. They are often prescribed as a way to get rid of incontinence, sexual pleasure, and a generally tighter vagina. They’re good to use because you can not only increase the time you spend holding it in place, but also increase the weight so that over time, you can get incredibly strong pelvic muscles.
Electric Stimulation
Electric stimulation is not generally going to be used for recreating and for vaginal tightening at the same time (though it can be used for either one). In the case of tightening vaginal muscles, a probe is inserted into the vagina and a mild shock is run through it. The muscle contractions will make the vagina feel tighter. It’s not comfortable and it’s only good for a last resort, but it works.
